Schools response:
We have received many phone calls and E-mails about the reports that Montebello High School students put up a Mexican flag and took down the American flag on Monday, March 27, 2006. MONTEBELLO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS DID NOT TAKE PART in this action. Students from two districts east of Montebello took part in this action. Our Administration, Staff, and students do not condone this action. We hope this clarifies the situation.

LOL I got a good laugh out of this one.

IMO...I don't find it funny.

Not a chance my friend. No one is going to do anything about this or any other issue like this. Thats the way it is not only in California but everywhere. No matter what the issue no one cares enough to try to do anything about an issue. Why? Vote legislation in, Legistators and the courts vote it down. Complain to the elected officials, they do nothing, try to get the neighbors involved, their too busy. I could go on but you get the idea.

Well I guess it is just me but if I lived in that town and saw that, I would walk over and rip it down...but that's just me.

Then you would have the American Civil Liberties Union parking on your front lawn accusing you of discrimination and violating the rights of ILLEGAL aliens.

That would be a lawsuit I would be happy to pay.
