I had someone follow me once for no good reason and I did the same thing: pulled into the police dept and they kept going, but I can see how it could be staged

Fo'real...don't all rednecks keep a huntin' rifle in their truck? What made him so sure they didn't have a gun, too?

Good point Michelle! "you know your a redneck when your gun rack has a gun rack on it" -Family Guy

Those guys are all Canuckleheads- listen to the accents- "look at this f#*kin guy, eh?" "Check owt the chick he's with" "Hope you got insurance, eh!".

Totally staged.

Ok I couldnt finish this because my network here sucks. But def have to agree that this is acting from what I have seen. I have been in the situation of the Z4 before, and let me say that this guy was a bit more calm than I was. Then again I was also being chased at 90+mph... ugh makes me pissed again just to think about it.

Aleko 08-14-2006 04:17 PM

Another reason I know it's staged is because the Z4 guy went from a somewhat justifiable self-defense case (let's pretend he was forced to turn in to that alley/parking lot and had no other choice) to committing at least 2 counts of felony - an assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery. Then he went on to post it on the Internet and brag about it... I don't suppose someone could be that stupid...

"Your honor, the prosecution would like to submit the evidence..."

Incorrect, if the stealing part would be but the gun is self defense and a good lawyer would get him off as it should be!

Think again. His justifiable self-defense stopped when there was no more threat, or when the attackers dropped the bat and stopped to be exact; taking the keys and stealing the camera was not the part of necessary self-defense, so he essentially robbed them at gunpoint.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very much pro-self-defense and pro-gun; but what this guy did is very wrong and he is the one giving the bad name to all people who carry for self-defense. If it is for real and not staged, I hope his ass gets prosecuted.

blondboinsd 08-14-2006 04:42 PM

Perhaps but as stated a good lawyor would argue otherwise and hopefully win against them to.

jwilburn 08-14-2006 04:49 PM

He could plea self-defense and moment of insanity probably to explain why he took the camera. However as soon as it is mentioned that the woman gets out of the car before him, or at the same time, I think they loose their credibility.

But yes he should have just shot their tires out and left.
