This thread is ridiculous... the guy deserved exactly what he got. I'm sure he'll play the "driveing while black" card and the LEO will lose his job. I hope that they took a blood sample and got his BAL once he was in the hospital....

I highly doubt he will be fired, the Police already said he did nothing wrong, I hope he gets fired if he deserved it, theres alot of grey area in this story, it keeps changing, the whole reason behind this was that I don't think I'd pull over if an unmarked police car tried to pull me over, I think he should have called for backup to take care of the situation and follow him until they arrived, I'm sure he'll pull the race card but who really cares, Black people already think the police are out to get them, whats really gonna change?

so why doesnt everyone just run from an unmarked vehicle and have backup units sent that makes a lot of sence right

Let police arrive and handle it? Wasn't the shooter the police?

The fact the law has the right to act the law all the time.

I don't think, as a police officer, you're really ever "off-duty". You may be getting paid for it sometimes, but I don't think you're ever really off-duty.

The fact is, you drive drunk, act belligerent, and youir girlfriend tries to run over someone who attempts to pull you over, it is gonna end badly.

You highly doubt it? What's your background in the legal ramifications in these matters?

Yes I doubt it because they already did their investigation AND released the report citing no wrong doing, so yes I doubt he'll be fired, Police generally stand behind their guys
