They constantly bash american cars by criticising their functionality in ways that they weren't designed for. I love that show, but they're so damn anti-US cars it's ridiculous. Gee, let's take a really wide h1 down extremely narrow streets and call it shit. If they owned a panel van would they do the same thing? Let's floor the H2 and watch the MPG gauge go to 1. Hey, do the same thing on an X5 and the MPG gauge goes to 1 too... morons. Let's drive an H2 like a sports car and see how it handles. Ok, let's drive an F430 and see how much it can haul. When they reviewed the C6Z06 it kicked ass in the performance categories and wound up #3 on the board for their test track, ahead of many many euro exotics, yet those buffoons still wouldn't give it any praise... they just walked around it banging on the body panels going "plastic, fiberglass, plastic..." and scowling.... pssst, what SHOULD they have made the car out of to reduce weight? Carbon Fiber? and sold 100 cars because the price would be astronimical to buy AND repair? pfffft

They completely biased and always slant their stories. This is America, if someone wants to buy a Chevy Cobalt, an H1 or H2, a Ferrari or a Vdub, so be it, who cares, it's their choice. When the neighbors with an opinion start helping with the monthly car payment, I'll pay attention to their opinion on what i drive.... until then.... not gonna happen.

the ARMY up armorer humvee it is turbo diesel i think if im not mistakin it is about 140 hp but is a lot faster than the non turbo engine which it is slow with the turbo charge i was able to reach about 75 mph driving throght the city of baghdad non stopping at any traffic light at all. it was fun but scary too because u never know where they hide then IED`s.

The new H1's have the 6.6 Duramax with 300HP.

If you really want a BIG suv go get yourself a 04' or 05' Ford Excursion w/6.0 Turbo Diesel. I owned a 04 and it was one of the best vehicles I owned not to mention I got on average 19 MPG in the city and over 24 MPG on the highway.

I think if you're getting a big SUV and you want to go offroading, you can do better by getting something like an LR3, Touareg, etc. They're about the same money, easier to park, drive better, and are great off-road. The Touareg can go anywhere an H2 can.. Especially with the air suspension and locking differentials. The interior of the H2 is horrible. I sat in one recently. I felt like I was in a coffin. The inside is just black plastic, with nothing to break it up. The build quality is abysmal, and the panel gaps are huge. If you're paying $55,000 plus for an SUV, don't you want to get your money's worth? I'd go with a Land Rover or a Touareg. And I know they've got reliability issues, but Land Rover is improving. And, Hummer is GM, and we all know about how great GM's quality is  My friend has an '06 LR3.. Not a single problem yet.
