Thanks for the heads up! Def something to think about.

I agree with Ryan, joining and particiapting in CCA events are a lot of fun. For our local chapter, they do a lot of racing/driving events and have gotten heavily involved in DIY. Hopefully I'll see some of you at the events.
Don't forget that one of the biggest reasons to join other than those already mentioned, is the fat check you get after buying new or CPO  For those that want to sign up, you can use the link and info in my signature below so I can get a reference (sorry for the plug). There's a membership drive going on, so I've been trying to get others to join. |
We've never gotten a chance to go to the BMW CCA sponsored events. Either no time, or too far, or X3s aren't allowed.. Maybe one day when I hopefully get a BMW, i'll do something to participate more actively.

I just joined!

I got one of those fat checks.

Barry, So if I had joined Windy City BMW CCA before I bought the E70, what would I be saving, if MSRP was around 55?

You get around $1000 for a new ride and $500 for a CPO. |
What was the join conditions for the check? I forgot.

1yr with out membership interruption.

It's $500 for 3-series/Z4/X3. $1000 for the 5 and X5, and I think up to $1500 for the 7. Not sure what the 6 is. You have to have been a member for at least one full year without interruption. I don't believe service loaner cars are permitted since the odometer statement is required and they have regulations about it.
