Yup, but every now and then, you have to remind puppies not to pee on the carpet.... pathetic isn't it?

Dude, all politicians are criminals and suck, your implication that republicans are any worse than the criminals that you support just shows that you're experience with the US political scene is limited. They're all crooks, they all have their hands in the cookie jar, and every 4 years we elect or re-elect 1 of them to run the country because someone has to have the job.

Let me ask you this... what have your hero Democrats that you voted in last year done for you so far? And I'm being serious, what has changed so dramatically that they're living up to your hopes and dreams and expectations that you had when you pulled the lever last November?

I can't answer that because we didn't pull a lever, it was electronic :nanana:

:iagree: 100%. I think it's naive to think that it's any different. Democrats aren't anointed with some saintly ability to not want power, influence, and money. They want it just the same and are not above anything. It's sort of like that old saying "when you point a finger you have four pointing at yourself". I also agree that they won last November on a "vote for us because we're not them" platform back with no substance.

Most non-sense in recent memory:

Didn't Bush run on "bringing dignity back to the Whitehouse?"

The war could not have happened without 9/11. My guess is if 9/11 had not happened, then there would have been some sort of other similar type attack. The attack was needed to justify the war.

Wagner....asking that question is like asking what Hitler's years as German Chancelor would have looked like if he had not invaded Poland in 1939, or what Saddam Hussein's years as Iraqi President would have looked like had he not invaded Kuwait, or what LBJ's years as President would have looked like had he not escalated the Vietman War. 9/11 is the essence of Bush's time in power. It defines his presidency. Had that attack not happened, there would have surely been another one to replace it, as I doubt the end goals would have changed, and an attack was a necessary event to carry out the policy.
