Amen to that!! I REALLY REALLY hope it does not look like the pics.. I did find a chopped pic that a magazine here produced that was EXCELLENT..I was/am still hoping it would look like that...



I drove it lastweek as a potential replacement for the X. I LOVED the drive, and the comfort. The mpg apparently was a little worse off than the X. Ive been so spoiled by the "little" things the X has available..Like

a) the headrests move! You dont realize how important this is until you get a car that doesnt..

b) the rear seats recline! Also very important.

c) and why make a moonroof that doesnt open?! ARRGHH!!

I WILL say however, the 7 seat option IS A 7 SEAT OPTION..7 adults can fit in with no problem and its great..The off road capability is superb as well...

San, i apologize for being ignorant, but what are those 2 things on the inside of the fog lights? some sort of air induction or an extra set of lights? :dunno:

Range Rover Sport. Great looking vehicle.

Buying a range or land rover is very expensive as you have to buy 2 of them, if you want to drive 1 while the other is in the shop.

The only less reliable SUV than the LR or RR is the VW Tourage, both had close to 50 problems per 100 in JD Power. They look great on paper, but I don't think I'ld ever buy one.

Yes, it is. But as gresch mentioned, it has a HORRIBLE quality record. Also, isn't that thing like $90K or something? (I'll have to look it up.)

LOL... How true. I hope they've corrected their quality issues. TWO of my neighbors ended up GIVING BACK their Discoveries to the dealer. That's how bad it was -- quality-wise. The latest RR and LR3 are beautiful, but I won't consider them unless their quality woes have been fixed.

The Range Rover supercharged is around $90 but the sport starts at $56 and for the supercharged sport is around $74.

They have a black RR sport here with bells and whistles galore for 51,400 out the door no tax..I thought about it for about a millisecond then came back to reality...

I made a difficult decision over the weekend. After finding out about some serious money I was going to have to spend on my '99 528 to fix the transmission, front suspension and tail gate, I decided to sell it and my Jeep and bought a Subaru Outback wagon. It is comfy enough for me, and since it is my commuter car, gets decent mileage. I got a good deal and the dealership was easy to work with (unlike a certain unnamed BMW dealer in my area ;) )

I am keeping the 330 though... that's my weekend/fun car. :D
