I was just giving UCrew a bad time. That is one crazy looking computer

There are a lot of wires behind my Soundcraft Ghost coming from everywhere. But a Rats Nest it isn't. That would create all kinds of noise and hum problems.
I would be willing to bet you mean there's a whole lot of wires right?

Very cool, Jeff! Another ebay find?

I've been running Windows 7 beta build 7000 x64 on my laptop since Xmas and I have to say it's really solid. Unlike Vista, pretty much all the drivers came across. This means I did not have to spend time downloading drivers and installing them post OS. Also, the boot times are faster than XP, Vista, and Windows 2008.

On my desktop, I have a quadcore with SATA RAID. Typically, with a new build-out of an OS, I have to specify the RAID drivers - not with Windows 7.

My overall experience with Windows 7 is that it's solid. It's what Vista should have been and is really Vista with back-end plumbing fixed IMO. There are some new features that I can't live without (Aero Peek, Aero Shake).

Your correct, not a true rats nest. There are a ton of wires and cables and all of them are being utilized. I give myself about a 2 foot gap between the wall and my racks to deal with swapping out devices, etc.

of course ;)

The seller had fried the motherboard, so I bought it strictly for the case and I rebuilt it from scratch with all the components I wanted in it. I am currently working on archiving onto it all of the home videos and pictures of my kids throughout the past 21 years, hence the need for the storage space.
