I haven't been all that disappointed in Vista, but if they can made the OS faster and more secure then that's a good thing.

between Mac and Windows OS these days?

Maybe windows will cut back some of the fat that made Vista such a resource hog... That was my main problem with it. If Windows 7 ends up being a lean and mean new version at least as good as XP (which vista isn't IMO) then it may become the partition on my iMac :)
