Point taken LeMans,
I was wondering about that fact as I was working on my last one. It makes sense to as all BMW X models to date are not marketed nor portrayed as M models with the 3 coloured stripes, except for what's about to hit the show rooms. I, like others have stayed away from the classic roundel and appreciate that what Jeff said about "The logo cannot contain any trademarks or logo elements that are owned by BMW AG". I was treading a thin line that apparently disappeared. So, is it ok to show an outline or part(s) thereof of an X model or is that 'owned' as well ?? |

My favorites so far:

Great work everyone! I absolutely appreciate the effort and I am not skilled enough to step up. The logos so far don't really give the feeling of the best BMW forum on the Internet. I know it's a challenge not being able to use any of BMW's trademarked elements but most of the logos thus far could just as easily be for a computer tech forum as an automotive forum. They are all nice but just don't embody "X5world" - or Xoutpost.
Just my lousy $0.02. |
