Contest - Design a new logo for Xoutpost.com
 

Things are starting to settle in here in our new home, Xoutpost.com. There are still some minor clean-up items to attend to, but overall I think things are in pretty good shape for our community.

One area for improvement is the Xoutpost.com logo. The current one is something that I cooked up real quick just to have something up there. But it's not the be-all end-all of logos, by any stretch of the imagination. To that end, I'd like to toss it out to the "creative types" here on the site to come up with a new site logo. As an incentive, the winner will receive a perpetual Premier Membership to Xoutpost.com (ie. no expiration date).

Here's the ground rules:

1. The logo must be an original work, with Xoutpost.com having an exclusive right to the logo that is selected
2. The logo cannot contain any trademarks or logo elements that are owned by BMW AG.
3. Of the logos submitted for consideration, the site moderators and administrators will select the best ones and put them up for a site poll, with the member community voting on which one they prefer. Unless there is a clear winner, there may be several rounds of voting involved.

Other rules may be added, depending on how this goes.
