I'm ready for MMS! I miss that feature after changing from a Razor to iPhone when they first came out. I have the 3GS now and the battery life is awful. And until 3.1 the wi-fi would barely work at home. And hello! how about a flash for the camera. It's worthless in low light situations. Add to that the sucky volume when bluetooth paired with my X5 that wasn't there in the first gen iPhone.

Getting back to the OP
Anybody upgraded yet?
How does it work.

I'm happy to report that SuperGreg's MMS is working fine and dandy on his iPhone.

Are you asking how you get the upgrade? Details here but I just connected my iPhone 3G to iTunes 9.01; hit "Check for Update"; and got the prompt that a carrier update is available.

After Power Down and back on, I now have MMS. Just tried it out. Sending a photo tooking longer than expected but it did seem to work... :)

Not asking about the how, Just asking anyone who
installed it how does it work. But you answered.

Having to charge the phone twice a day, then having it die after four hours is ridiculous, with the bluetooth off, not using the internet other than occasional map and a text. I'm ready for the iphone 4.0 and it better be DAMN good.

Get an "Incase " battery extender...

Thats okay, not having the metro app is a great way to lead into a conversation with a parisian girl.

I lost my SIM card from ATT... what do you think I need to do since the line is technically inactive right now?

Anybody who's phone runs down in 4 hours time
needs to take their phone to the Mac store and
get it fixed. My 3G last all day.
