:iagree: Why would she break the rear window when he is in driver seat. Its pretty clear that his wife drove him to this accident. That woman should be charged for brutality. ;)

Yep. My guess is that he was having an affair, his wife was yelling at him because she knew, he tried to leave, she ran after him and busted his rear window out with a golf club and he was so startled he crashed his car.

If he came forward immediately, even with the version the he believes is truth, you honestly believe the paparazzi/media would leave it alone? They were making a mountain out of a mole hill before this incident, which only fueled their fire. Tiger sells newspapers and tabloids and that industry is hurting deeply right now.

imo his silence will kill this fiasco sooner.

Your statement is exactly why it isn't going to die. You think he'll be able to touch another tournament and not get questioned?

imo...people playing paparazzi and rating-starved tv exec is what will keep this story alive. Golf tournament? Next question...simple as that. When Law closes the case, what else will there be to talk about but rumors? You honestly believe that him telling more than he already has will quite the media/paparazzi? So let's just say your gut suspicions are correct...would Tiger coming out and throwing his wife under the bus suffice?

Nobody has yet to comment on statements from the neighbors (one of whom is a retired doctor) about how they saw no evidence of him having been beaten by his wife, or anything unusual going on between them at the scene. Media won't touch that, it isn't juicy enough to sell.

His professional and private life may never be the same, that's a fact. Nothing he says at this point will satisfy the media/paparazzi storm. There will be plenty of vultures coming out of the ozarks to claim Tiger had relations with them, simply to claim their 15 minutes...It's a chess game for him from here on in...Silence can speak volumes sometimes.

chilli and Quick...you guys are funny.

Do you really think he was just going for a random drive at 2:00 in the morning and managed to crach his car feet from his house and that his wife had to bash out a BACK window to rescue him and that is the end of the story? Was he on Ambian and had a sleep walking episode or something??? This story is a big deal because it is a "tip of the iceberg" sort of thing. I would bet that there is an underlying issue that will surface and he will look bad for not being honest and upfront about it.

Quicksilver 12-02-2009 01:21 AM

Actually this thread is funny.

I have no clue weather he just going for a random drive at 2:00 in the morning,
or weather his wife had to bash out a BACK window to rescue him.
What I am surprised about is all the stuff people keep making up as if
they were on the scene or talking over the back fence gossiping about
some factual event that just occurred.

Get the facts people......... otherwise it's all gossip

Of course it is. I don't think anyone said they know for a fact what happened, but Tiger's silence and the facts that have come out so far scream of deeper, underlying issues. If you can't see that, I would have loved to be a teenager growing up in your house. :D
