hey alpac... you said 5/11 10/11 is that a mistake? did u mean 5/6 11/12
|
K, i tried almost all the wires and combinations.. nuthing! However good news! I took apart left side door. found the 2 wires that goto that speaker(brown n yellow) then i tapped into those in the back! Works! But now... heres the problem.. when i turn on the car sub makes a pop sound.. and also when i turn off the car... what is causing this? Am I still better off using the LOC? Right now im connecting to the amps high levels and its grounded... like you said. What do you think? thanks
I read this in the manual " WARNING: When using the speaker (high-level) inputs, the Black wire must be grounded at the Radio. Failure to do this will result in noise and improper operation." Any way around this, i dont want to route one bloody wire to the deck!... (some reason my drivers side window stopped doing auto down, also trunk lights wont turn off! andddddd when i lock all doors. the lights stopped flashing...) wtf... |

Anyway, rear door woofer is a good source for the sub too. So when you tape into the rear door speaker wire does your sub work or not? If your sub makes a pop sound when you turn on the car that means it is powered on, that is normal. |
Hey, yes the sub works and everything, pounds very nice :), but sub makes a popping sound, and comes out (excursion) (the rubber lifts up), seems like its gonna blow, then when i turn the radio off, it comes out (excursion) then goes slowly back in making a boom boom swooosh sound. Just doesnt seem right, and or safe for the sub... my car doesnt do this... :(... i think it has something to do with the remote wire...
