I just loaded it on my UK Rover 75 Nice not to have the BMW welcome screen anymore at least the version number is a bit more non descript!
After the upgrade mine came up in German I tried it at 2.5miles and there is a a town in the distance that is off the screen with the top down view I like the clouds! |

The bird's eye view is a great Nav improvement although as stated before the side streets are missing, but I do not think that this view is intended primarily for urban areas anyway. This is a very useful option in the Interstate, where you can see far away in front and sides -for example- the next service station or the exits without changing the scale. In fact, when I selected for the first time this view the Nav showed the closest Mall pretty nicely a couple of miles from where I am parked, something that I could not see before with the Map view at the same scale. I only hope that this beta is stable in the long run. Thanks X5World! |

Yep Sirius is fine ... should have mentioned that before :-)
Can someone confirm for me that in the telephone sub-menu, if you press emergency option it no longer changes to the "emergency screen" like this - http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-...-Bus12copy.jpg Is this just a symptom of the Nav in Euro mode now? Thanks. |
I guess that it can still be changed back to the USA mode just by going to the dealer without affecting this new feature, right?
