Thanks for the advice.

I downloaded the image of which seemed to have worked fine. However, I burnt the image (.iso) to a DVD using both Nero at the lowest speed and another try with IMGBurn but I always get the message 'Incorrect CD/DVD...'. Any ideas? I'm currently running the latest OS version V32.

What year is your X5??? If it's an E70, then it is an incorrect DVD!!!

Can you confirm that you have a MK4 and NOT a MK3 unit?
2009-1 HIGH version DVD can be used ONLY in a MK4 !!!

@ X5 fan
go from Menu > setting and on the top of screen at right you can read your SW version...if it starts with 4 you have an mk4 if it starts with 3 you have an mk3 and mk3's only reads cd's not dvd's...

Hi can anyone help me please I have a 2008 Mini with the factory nav,
I have the lastest 2009-1 disc with the euro speed cameras from piratebay.
The disc loads fine but there is no menu for the speed cameras in the POI section of the nav.
Is there anyway to check the disc actually has the speed cameras on it ?

Thanks in advance

Look down the list of directories to find one called TPD, open it & look for another called NCCBEUFNM_EU_20081007 and open this.
I then deleted the directories FRE, ITA & SPA which reduced the image size (shown at the top of the screen) to 4429MB - small enough to get on a single layer DVD. Obviously, don't delete a language you want (I only wanted ENG)
Save the image as the same name you started with & burn to DVD.
That it!

I am down to 4539 MB after deleting SPA & FRE. ITA was not on my copy. This is still too large for a single layer DVD.

What else can I Delete?

all country folder except that one you want to use...;) ...I took only ITA, of course, and it was 4100MB...

You can only have 1 country in the folder, so for Holland, either ENG or GER, not both, which ever you are happier with.

Mine just has ENG.
