Just an headup, you remember what happened to the data when I had my none unicode set to Chinese?

Maybe a stumbling block.

Thats great news, I will no longer have to reflow my whole IBUS PCB and rebuild the OS on my laptop, only to remember 3 hours later my none unicode was set to Chinese :-)
