Picked mine up (1 owner, full history, no accidents, 6.5 yrs old, 100k miles, never seen snow)) for around 20% new MSRP. Got a 90 day powertrain warranty & did a high speed run before it expired (BMW states 143 mph top speed for '03 4.4 sport, saw 147 mph GPS (speedo was around 153), my X must have been "blessed" by the speed Gods!!!). My son was behind me in his supercharged/modified MR2, he was only able to get to around 140 mph, he was amazed the X outran his car.

200k now, rock solid, ZERO rust (chassis included), gets over 575 miles per tank hwy (75 mph or under) & over 400 miles city.

Did a few runs to 135 mph, 105 mph in heavy rain, and hot lapped Sebring with 5 on board in March (an M6 owner from France was back seat for hot lapping, he was blown away at what the E53 could do on a track).

I get comments on how nice the X is all the time. People are dumbfounded when they hear it's 12 yrs old and 200k miles.

Stop to take pics & get asked if I'm taking "for sale" images, gotten several business card and told "call me" when you're ready to sell.

What's not to love???
