I was talking about personal heavy rotation on my CD/mp3 player. They're anything but one of the latest trends, this group hasn't had a hit since the early 80's! I just had an old-guy moment when I pulled out the CD, gave it a spin and realized that what I thought was cheesy soft-pop back in the childhood is kinda cool to me now.

You need a category that says
"Stuff your girlfriend made you listen to to prove you loved her"

If you could stand listening to a few tracks of the mushy stuff, you're in love. If you cracked early and switched to real rock (in my case - stuff like Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot in High School), then you weren't really in love. I never made it to the second song, hence I was never in love. Probably saved me a lot of money and heartache anyways.

You could add Hall & Oates, Supertramp, Bread, and Journey to that group as well.

I'm not over 30, but I really like music. I give Ambrosia a , but then again, there isn't a lot of music that I don't like... 'cept (most) country.

I knew they disappeared in the 80's but I thought they might be getting some play on those Classic Rock or Easy Listening stations. You actually have them on CD and not vinyl, cassette or 8-track?

Poll options should include "none of the above"

Hot damn! Thems some kick ass tunes.

Sweet sample!

I might be a little off but they remind me of Steely Dan.
