I've got 3 2disc sets in my Alpine right now

Dixie Chicks, concert - love them as long as Natalie sings and doesn't talk. Of course, this is the same girl who said she rather be dead than sing CW while attending Juillard

John Cougar Mellencamp, hits - eclectic, but tell me Los Lobos "How Far is Heaven" is not stolen from his "Cherrybomb"

Stones, 40 licks - great, unique, wonderful music..., but I wish Mick had shut up on all but 10. Most of the rest I can't understand what he's singing(?)

The WVa tragedies have brought back memories of 2 favorites - Jimmy Dean "Big John" (yeah, the sausage guy) and Tennessee Ernie Ford "16 Tons"

Everytime we go anywhere in my wife's car, it's either Ambrosia, Beegees, or the Isley Brothers playing on her CD. She has 100 CD's in her car, but she can only listen to 3. Go figure.

Anyways, I have Ambrosia in my R&B playlist because their music IMHO is blue-eyed soul , like Hall and Oates, Boz Skaggs, and Michael McDonald.

Cherrybomb is a great song! JM is doing a spot for NCAA tourney too i saw today on CBS. Also, great NIKE commercial w\ RNR Ain't noise pollution from Back in Black seemed to debut today during nfl games. It's not selling out anymore if you can get the kids to search out the the the classic rock bands after they pick up tee shirt at Mervyn's.
