When did the LS400 get Mark Levinson? I thought it was Nakamichi until the LS430?

BTW: Notice how the Lexus gets unstable at around 95mph+ while the German cars tend to stick to the road?

Very good friend of mine has a shop in Warwick RI called Elite Auto, all he works on is Lexus and Toys 14 years worth...my friend Matty ripped out a Levinson from a wreack to install in his daily driver...except he never got around to it. I dropped LS off for the 100k service, gave him some advice on his investments and SIMPLE IRA plan for his employees...ya know asset allocation and diversification basics. He was so appreciative that when I pick up the car the next day he explained that he took the liberty of installing the head unit with a slight mod to fit and amp and hoped I would be happy with it, on top of that he tossed in a woodgrain steering wheel that he had laying around that matched. It had a small crack but who cares.....he gave me a MAJOR hook up!

Also RICKY, I swear on my living grandparents....I have taken that LS to 139-142mph on a strecth of 95 between BOSTON and Prov...there are never any state police and I only do it at 2am coming back from a night out in Boston....NEVER ONCE DID THAT CAR FLOAT! Then I changed the stock 16x 7.5s for 18 x 8 Moda R 6 wheels with a BFG KDWS....I did it again and it was even better...then I got a set of LSPORTLINE lowering springs...dropped the front 1.15- 1.25inches and the rear 1.5inches...did it again and it was even better, but back to my point THAT CAR DOES NOT FLOAT AT HIGH SPEEDS PERIOD stk and even less moded. Also before the computer kicks in and retards the timing at excess 144mph...that needle moves throughout the speedometer with a purpose.

My dad for years had a 944 turbo, I think a 86 or 87...He let me use it many times and @110 mphs that car fluttered, @ 120 it was dam right dangerous.

This is the Lounge--I didn't know we had to send our messages out to a proofreading service before posting. This is why I rarely post--too many idiots nitpicking on grammar and spelling when you're trying to relax and have fun.

FYI--You might be "intelligent" but you have the manners of a caveman.

I am glad they worked it out, because that sort of sniping can destroy a board.

Not a "newbie"--look at my join date (before yours??). I don't usually post on things like this but it destroyed a really good discussion thread.

you obviously don't know the history then. Constant misinformation and useless information does nobody any good.

Really, it doesn't matter when you joined. Jeff, Drex, Kevin, Charles all know me and we were the original group of refugees. So if you don't know, I suggest you go back and hide and continue to lurk since you have contributed nothing and have not even donated to X5world.
