MD, looks like a great job . I think the wheels look great on that color. I think the CRV is a well designed vehicle. I first and foremost a Honda loyalist, then comes BMW .

Thanks to all the Viewers for letting me bore ya'll to tears with pics of a CR-V,

The "clean look" was done by a local detail guy using Klasse (sp?) prods. and claying, though I think the orig Zaino job I gave it way back in early '03 gave it amazing initial protection under all the grime. The Detail Guy said he agreed, as he thought the "look" of the grime on the paint and leading edges would make for a long day; but it came up like new. I really attribute that to Zaino which I still feel is the best "shine/protection" for most apps.

I use the old method of Z: Z1, Z2, lotsa coats of Z6 and a recent prod. called Z8 which I bought at Juan's Meet.

I have no idea what he used on all the black cladding.

The wheels were added way back: ASA 16" in a not quite Plus 1 sizing, replacing the wheelbarrow 205/70-15s that came on car.

The MonoWhite scheme looks ok, I guess.

This is not my fave car:
-front seating is for the vertically challenged, espc. lack of leg room
-MPG is just so-so for a lil' 4 cyl.
-the part time AWD is not instant, nor intuitive and I'd give its "traction" about a C- on steep, slippery climbs. No hill descent makes for white knuckle go downs.
-It has more than its share of rattles.
-Plenty of glitches, most of which have been "fixed" several times only to reappear soon after the "fix"; the two Honda Stlrs I've been to are really caught up in the Honda is the Perfect Freakin Car syndrome and give short shrift to a complaining customer, imo.
-front end simply will Not hold an alignment; thus, odd, uneven and very fast rate of tire wear, even with the bigger 16s

Good "size" and "scootable" around town, however.
TheCEO likes it. (It's hers.) I'd like to dump it on a new '06 RAV4 this summer...

For those thinking of one, go test drive to check front room and try to avoid getting sucked into the Honda myth, which I have been a fan of, Motorcycle-wise for a long time...disappointed in this car, however. The '06s are supposedly "nicer", but its the same car. Some are made in Nihon and some are made in Angleland. My English version sucks, but not sure it's the country's fault.

Thanks for the compliments on our lil' Seasonal Starter Shack; it is not Quail or Grey Oaks or Tiburon, or any of the other big buck, "fashionable" developments here in NoveauRicheNaples, but it's ok and paid for, pre-inflationary times.
BR,md
