I have heard there is a car ferry with sleeping cabins that leaves from Vancouver and the scenery is incredible...when you get to Alaska your X5 won't be trashed.

nice nice, i think ill go to alaska, i do hear its very nice in the summer time, even though their summer is very short....but beautiful

I been there atleast 5 times so far this year, I love Alaska, espcially the Anchorage area - great food and beer too

I got tons a pcis, especially from the air, Im a pilot so I get to travel all over the world. Kenai, Valdez, Anchorage, and King Salmon are all very nice areas. Basically stay south and you won't go wrong. I'll PM you some photos after the SuperBowl, summer is the best time unless you like "Extreme" skiing then Valdez is probably the only place to go.

did a cruise a couple years back. It was awesome and the scenery is unbelievable. Be advised though that there is a still a Mt Augustine volcanic activity warning that might cause delays and evacs depending on where you go...
