Dead well before the truck hit him. Wearing a seatbelt would have saved him.

I was talking to a police officer the other day, and he told me they have two terms for people who get killed in accidents. Victims (the ones wearing their seat belt) and Volunteers (the ones who weren't).

ps - I didn't watch the one you listed, cause I wasn't really into watching someone get ejected from a a car. I've seen that in real life, and it ain't pretty. 6 'volunteers' from one station wagon on the freeway, after being clipped by a semi-truck.
