I have to say I appreciate your new approach regarding this thread.

I am am a micro business (not a small business) as I am the only person employed by Digital Competition Systems. I have never considered asking the Government for making my business successful, I am the only one responsible for failure or success .

So no, I do not qualify for any SBA or any other Government programs. In my opinion, asking for help from the Government is accepting the fact that I cannot provide for myself or my family and I am nothing but a failure in my business or personal ambitions. I have never sucked off the Government tit and never will. I have been raised to be the captain of my own destiny. (Sink or swim if you will.)

Even my wife could claim she is scared to work at Target because of the pandemic and could be claiming unemployment insurance along with the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance to be making $900 a week but that is is just dishonest and deception and we will not be a part of the welfare state.

As far as the masks go, you do realize the even the N95 masks will filter only up to 0.3 microns and the Corona Virus infection droplets are .06 to .15 microns so the opinions of masks protecting the population in this thread are null and void. PERIOD.

That’s the most absurd. The mask blocks the carriers aerosol from exiting into the public space when he/she coughs or sneezes.

Compare the difference in the amount of aerosol entering the atmosphere between a mask user and a non user, it’s really not that hard to realize mask will save lives.

Again, facts:

N95 masks filter .3 microns whether in or out and Corona Virus infection droplets are .06 to .15 microns. Masks are doing dick. I know facts are hard for you to accept but it is what it is. Deal with it.

So you are against the recommendation of CDC, WHO, and Dr Fauci? Because they all recommend mask wearing to reduce the infection rate.

I seriously doubt your opinion holds jack against these experts’ findings.

But hey, you have ur individual right to believe what u believe in. Just let me know next time u r in town please.

Ok you can't have it both ways....

Masks protect you!

or

Masks don't protect you!

You keep telling me how the masks protect you then why did you push the "wear a mask or stay home" BS?

Then oh.... The masks just block it when some carrier coughs or sneezes!

If it stops it leaving someone's mask then shouldn't your mask be just as good if not better since inhaling is probably less than 10% of the 200 mph sneeze?

My problem is that many times what people have said on here is that if someone doesn't take the precautions they want then screw it they should be forced to stay at home/not work and who cares about someone else's Rights?

The problem with having a "group" push any agenda is that it always leads to Rights being trampled in another area and by the next or opposing group using it as a precedent.

How is it bs with the more than 1 million Infected numbers of cases?

Other country don’t have 1 million infected with 10s of thousands new cases added each day.

I said don’t open the economy on an arbitrary date. I am for a limited and careful reopening.

I said hammer and dance.

We have to do both mask + stay home because we didn’t contain it in the first place.

Why didn’t we contain it? Because we discounted the virus and did absolutely nothing when we could have been doing wide testing and tracing.

And because as late as late March we were still fed garbage like mask isn’t that effective while countries like Korea and Taiwan were wearing them as early as January and february.

Just go google what these countries did in the early days of the pandemic.

You don’t have to listen to me, their effective strategies are open public knowledge.

Here are some studies done by doctors and scientists that I read regarding the effectiveness of surgical and N95 masks to protect healthcare professionals. There are several studies documented so feel free to read it for yourself.

None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.

Why do you think the N95 masks are approved for use if they are ineffective?

As Amuzo pointed out, I am not an expert. I can only research and read articles from the web. Masks do offer some protection but to think that they will protect you completely from the Corona Virus would be disingenuous at best.

Here are 2 of the articles I was referencing along with the studies listed above.
