Valentine's day is cute when you 're a kid and you draw a card for your sweetie and you hold hands and give her a kiss on the cheek
I like the "Hallmark holiday" coinage: nowadays it's just about spending a ton of money on a particular date, like you're trying to catch up for all the rest of the year. There's no date for flowers, or taking your wife out to dinner or coming home with a surprise... you should do it whenever you feel like it! So, no particular plans yet.
