Canon SD450

I just found a great deal for you.

It's the Canon SD450:

It is being offered by Crutchfield

List price: $339.99
Price break: -$40.00
Promo: -$50.00 (Promo code # PA440)
Net price delivered: $249.99*
* Includes free shipping and a free camera case

The great thing about ordering from Crutchfield, is that they offer a 30 money back guarantee

This is an awesome camera for the price, and will do just fine for blowing up to 8x10's

Speaking of Nikons, I've just bought my wife a Nikon Coolpix P1 for her birthday. She likes how it's very easy to grip and handle in her hands. I like the WiFi feature which is convenient when you have your laptop with you so you can download as soon as you take pictures. 2.5" screen is very bright and crisp and battery lasts fairly long...about 180 shots or so. Not to mention its 8MP. She's happy.

Well, I like that s80. I also ran across a Sony DSC-N1 which is also 8.1 MP and I can get it for about the same price. I can also then keep all my memory sticks.
So it's either going to be the S80 or the DSC-N1 as of right now.
Thanks guys.

I've been itching to get a digicam for the last couple of months... looking at the SD550 and the Sony DSC-W7, which has the advantage of using AA batteries. Both get great reviews... I'll be interested to hear what you get, and how you like it. A lot of people here seem to go for the Canon!
