supercharger, larger throttlebody, gear ratio change, port/polish, air intake, cam change, the list is endless...

I thought he was giving the 5.0 a headstart, handicap lead. I watched again and relized he was just awful.

All you gotta do on the Ford GT is change the pulley on the super charger and get a chip. and you got like an easy extra 100hp

A nitrous system set up to produce 100hp on a natural aspirated set up will produce more power than that on a super/turbocharged car because the nitrous helps cool the heated, compressed air from the blower. When nitrous oxide hits atmospheric pressure the temp is about -27F. Though I don't know what the GT runs stock (maybe high 11 @122ish), I'd guess that a properly set up 150-200hp nitrous shot would get it to 144 in the quarter.

Also, I would be a bit nervous about doing 5k rpm clutch dumps in a GT on slicks. For the extra half second or so that is gained, there is a very good chance something will break with that much torque.

That is correct....here is my dyno of a 185 shot on my 03 cobra. I picked up over 300foot/pounds of tq and over 200rwhp
