Decisions Decisions... input appreciated

So this past weekend I put my summer wheels back on (SSR GT3s, see sig). The winter wheels were Contour replicas wrapped in some Finnish made tire. Company name began with an H or N and the name of the tire is obviously the one that's not the company Anyway, these tires saw one winter season, are studable, and really amazed me in some of the thick snow and ice that Arkansas saw in Feb and the crappy roads of western MD.

Here's the thing, I have 6, yes SIX, GT3s. All but 1 needs to be refinished. One of the 6 may even be totalled.

Do I:

a) Refinish the wheels as I have the money
b) Try to sell the GT3s for $1500 and the Contours for $1000 and get BBS CH for a couple hundred more.
c) Try to sell the GT3s for $1500 and the Contours for $1000 and get BBS LM for $1300 more
d) Ken you crazy F, you have absolutely no money and are in debt over your head. You don't need new wheels. (but this isn't about not having money or not needing new wheels... this is a long term thought process)

Note: selling the Contours require me picking up another set of winters next season... $1400 for 17" BLACK ASA AR1s wrapped in winter tread.

Input please... and of course, I will put up pics of CHs and LMs, and AR1s if needed.

Thanks everyone... now discuss

The Finnish tyres you're talking about are Nokian Hakkepeliittas. I'll probably get a set myself once the original MXV4's wear out.

It seems your question has a significant financial component to it. Given that, only you can decide what's best for you. The money-no-object answer is to get the LM's of course.

Since it's YOUR MONEY and not mine, I would have you sell both the GT3's and the Contours and buy these BBS LM's for $2100:

I'll let you have my bottle caps for your winter tires for free if you pay for the shipping. They're gathering dust in my garage.

can't remember if the offset fit but some guy was selling 19" LM's off his M5 for $2700 with PS2's on them.. might wanna look there.. The CH's (my wife has them on her S4) and the LM's are a pain to clean though!

Why ya gotta tempt me like that huh I don't think ET54 will fit an e36 M3, and 10" wide would need some serious fender rolling or widebody flares

19s look too big on the e36 body style (personal opinion), and no wheel is a pain to clean with the right brush

GRRRRRR... and wheel location is in Springfield MO!!!! I can pick them up this weekend if I had the money since I'm driving out to see LilBit. If they had tires mounted, I'd ask if I could try them on

You're right - I didn't notice the offset. Why don't you just get your GT3's refinished? Tired of the look?
