Check out the home page here. There is a link in the Interior Section, including links to the product and instructions for installation. The cost is about $30-$40. I just did it and for cost of less than a tank of gas I have a prettier gauge cluster. Incidentally, the '06 X5's all have aluminum look gauge rings now as the 4.6 and 4.8 always had. I have now brought my '02 up to spec with what is now OEM.

What other mods would you do if you had a fat mod fund? ie. Cost aside.

Glad to hear you got them installed Kevin. Any problems? How long did it take you?

It took me about 30 minutes. Getting the gauge pod out wasn't difficult at all. As you know, cracking the case open is a little challenging. I took my time with those "+" fasteners because I was afraid to break them. They sort of just bend out of the way. The most time consuming part was fitting the rings. The big ones fit in easily but the two smaller ones would not snap in all the way so I had to file the edges down a little and then muscle them in without breaking the gauge bezel. It's all good now.

I told the wife that I bought her some rings since I know girls love rings. I then showed her what I meant. She was mildly amused. Damn I'm funny.

Do you think about what you do and say?

I live in America and have the right to think and question.

No I don't have a Brian, I have a brain, I, unlike you, think about what I say. I am also not a dumb ass kid. I'm done. The end.

This stuff needs to stop. We've had to lock a few threads lately which is more than we've had to do since the site started. It doesn't matter who started what but we will not tolerate personal attacks or insults. Do not try to instigate fights and do not perpetuate them. Thank you for your cooperation.
