My new Carrera GT.

This is not an April Fool's joke. I don't really have one but I was very near one today. I was at the dealer when this dude pulled up next to me. Holy crap! The pictures speak for themselves. It sounded insane!

My Remus exhaust looks better than his.

Nice vehicle. Love those Mille Miglia wheels with the Sterling gray paint.

What's that thing to the left? Another Mazda kit car? What's up with the stuck spoiler and foggy headlight covers? Just kidding. The Carrera GT was the most impressive car I saw at the last 2 L.A. Auto Shows.

Did you see the owner? If I recall, Jay Leno has one. Or maybe the owner owns or runs both Porsche and BMW dealerships?

One heck of a GT car. Those exhausts have little turbines in them.

Thanks! Those wheels were a bit of an impulse buy. They're 19's and look about perfect. I have never seen those wheels on another X5. Well, there was a picture of one I saw but they were the silver version of the wheels whereas mine are gunmetal/light charcoal gray.

I did see the owner. It was an older guy with white hair. He had a friend with him and they were there to look at the M5 in the showroom. I joked with the sales manager that the guy was going to trade in the Carrera GT and he was not phased because apparently they get some interesting trades.

The headlight covers were indeed foggy because the guy had an invisible bra that was far from invisible. It was a translucent sandpaper like material all over the front bumper and headlights. It looked really bad. Why he didn't use the 3M/Stoneguard that we all recommend is beyond me.

Nice rides, but not worth the funds when you put them up against a well modified turbo or GT3.

However, that said, how nice of you to block out your tag number but not the tag number on the GT...what a guy
