That sounds reasonable. As far as the specs go, it says that it's output at 90psi is 4.2 cfm, which seems to be sufficient for most air tools. How does tank capacity play into things?

EDIT: I'm looking at larger Craftsmen compressors like this 15 gallon one and it's output is only 3.5scfm at 90psi.

I brought the 33 gal tank on sale for 259.00 with the a free tool kit that had the impact wrench, some common socket sizes, adapters, and an impact hammer...plenty of power and the thing with a bigger tank is that it just runs less while your using it...take a peak this thread and you will see it lurking in the back of the garage.

yo v.. get one that has at least 20 gallons. the more the better. otherwise that engine is gonna kick on all the time and you may have to wait till you have enough pressure again.

the others are correct about output and tool requirements. for home use, a 20-26 gallon will do fine. obviously more is better. the engines are VERY loud despite all their labels saying that its quiet...

Yeah, agree with Hayaku....the engine was LOUD.....Anyhow, did you get your impact wrench fixed?

i got another one that was rated properly... but still not as good as the original one.. i still have yet to call in to get the parts to fix it...

btw... how's your car riding now?
