What's the record for # of posts to one thread in one day? Lots of folks chiming in on this one.
Here's my take, Amit. Anything you do has a regretable consequence if you allow yourself to feel regret. So you waffled over your selection between an M3 and an X5 with each vehicle possesing unique qualities, and you ultimately chose an X5. Guess what - that was the right decision because it was your decision. Trust your judgement and have complete faith and confidence in your ability to call the shots and it will take you a long way. If you had picked an M3 over an X5, who knows... on this very day, you could be on E46fanatics.com posting how you regret not getting an X5 because you couldn't fit chains on your EVO wheels during the snow season, or your your camping gear didn't fit in the trunk of the M3, or the 4 coeds you tried to pickup in Daytona didn't fit and they didn't want to be separated, so they went with the guy in the Escalade. That's why you put your nose to the grindstone, work your ass off in school, get the highest degree possible, take the business world by storm, and buy yourself a vehicle for every occasion which is every man's dream (besides having a harum). Don't regret your choices for now. Look to the future, maybe an E91 M3 is in it. |

watching the kids on star mazda series today proves my point once again. Younger kids tend to have higher propensity to take risks and not contemplate the results. Just look at how many guys went into the first turn hot and wide with less than warm tires. Some of the passes were downright stupid. I'm not saying that all kids are like that but having been 16-17 and lucky enough to drive some very fast porsches, ferrari's and lambo (my dad's 73 RS and my uncles testarossa and coutach) I done my share of pretty stupid boneheaded moves and almost totalled my dads very rare pcar. Hence we starting out with a RWD corolla. When you are young, you DO NOT know your limits. All kids are fearless until they get their first oh shit moment.
With that said though, Amit just from his responses and post proves that he is 1) inexperienced 2) not paying attention and thinks it's ok to not pay attention or get into an accident once a year 3) not even smart enough to know that insurance fraud will get you an immediate pass to but the butt monkey of some guy in Juvenile hall or worst yet.. medium security prison. If you were his dad, would you give your son a 60K car with 333hp. A responsible father would not. This thread refers to only Amit. You made inferences but again, you also have proved that you do not have a clear understanding or risk/probability. Come back and talk when you get through colllege and pass your quants/statistics class.. Quote:

alright sanguru just forget it.. now you saying im immature, dont know what im talking about, etc, etc..... everyone makes one mistake in a while your def not the perfect driver either.... i made a mistake, i drive better with the 330. so i posted this to see people's opinion on the two cars. not for people to criticize me . i already have passed my AP STAT class so im not taking it in college. Im salutatorian of my class. I got a full ride to college. I think i deserved my car and i think if i got the M3 i would be able to control it because the error i made wiht my car caused a really little dent not huge maybe cost a 100 dollars to fix it. you are just judging too much. I will give you that you have much more experience than me and much more understanding on these things but just please stop. i was just suggesting the insurance thing because i got my ways and know people. don't worry about that. Just stop this thread went completely to the wrong way.
P.S. I couldve even gotten an M5 but would that been a good choice. No. I just went wiht the X5 because big car, safer, and not too much speed to mess me up. Anyways this thread is OVER!

LOL! you keep making me laugh! salutatorian and you're going to Pace University as you had stated in another thread and hoping to get into BC or BU "someday" And the comment about you knowing people and that's why you want to commit insurance fraud??
Hilarious. I will let this thread end now since I don't want you to continue to make a complete fool of yourself. Better to STFU than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. haha Quote:

Keep the X5, get a shifter kart and pull it to the track with the X5. The shifter kart will get your driving skills ready for an M3 in the future.
Just my 2 cents. |
