Don't mean to hijack a thread but F1 Boston is a great track. I haven't been there in a year or so, just don't like the muffler you have to run there to meet sound requirements. I highly recommend karting to anyone who loves driving. There nothing better to improve driving skills and some of the best drivers are in karts.

In the past year I have driven against Scott Speed, Buddy Rice, Colin Flemming, Sarah Fisher (yeah I know) and Billy Boat. What form of club racing will draw that sort of talent at the local level?

To continue the I love karting but just can't break the money loose to buy a cart, trailer, etc. Also, the awesome track nearest me is supposed to be closing as a victim of Lowe's buying the land. Here is am putting along.

What about Dick Gozinya or Buster Hymen or Mike Hunt or Hugh Jorgan?

Where are you located? That might help narrow things down a little. I have a good source if you're in SoCal.
