I currently have both a 8700c and 7100g. 7100g is quirky and still crashes a lot even with code upgrade.. The 8700c is much better but I still want to get something else...

I have had an 8125 for 29 days and I think I love it. It replaced my flakey Treo 650. The 8125 is rock solid. Yes, it might slow to a crawl if too many apps are opened at once, but it hasn't rebooted once, the integration with Outlook and Office is excellent, and you can easily type your personal memoirs on the slide out keyboard. If you email more than you phone, like me, I think it's the way to go. If you keep track of opened programs, and close them once they are opened, you won't have a problem with speed. It's a great machine imho.

Anyone able to get the 8125 to work 100% with bluetooth in their BMW???
Im having a hard time getting the contacts to display on the screen all the time so I can scroll through them. The phone wont send them to the BT module or the module wont get them from the phone. Was wondering if anyone else had issues or a fix. Thanks |

what bluetooth module are you running? I don't have any problems with the phone book transfer on mine. My unit ends in 511.

I have the original BT module and it works great. I do have one problem though--the phone sends ALL of my contacts to the car, and I only want about 10 or 15 in the car's memory. Any idea how to send only the SIM contacts, for instance?

it just connected right away without any setting changes on the phone. Is your contact list on device itself or sync'ed w/ xpress mail?

It worked right out of the box on the 1st pairing attempt.
All of my contacts are in Outlook and sync with Exchange, so they are on the device itself. I also have the 15 most important numbers in my SIM Card address book. Those are the #s I want to transfer into the car.
