Question weird question.....

Ok so I'm assuming many of you saw my X5 video that I threw together showcasing my one and only lap at Thunderhill. If you remember, I also said I was working on a much more "complete" video showcasing the Porsche batting it out with a tricked out Subaru STi.

Well, the video and DVD -- complete with interactive animated menus -- is complete and I've even compressed the video down to a healthy 768kbit for streaming online should you wish to see it.

HOWEVER: while I'm no stranger to posting my personal pix online -- yes, i'm a myspace addict lol -- I've been warned that posting a video online with me in it is not a wise move.

What do you think?

As it turns out, I could easily just cut out the section that I'm in: it's a distinctly separate part of the video called "post-race" that's more of a retrospective interview of me discussing the highlights of the day, however, it would certainly interrupt the "flow" of the video and from my position as "director/editor/artist/whatever" lol I would hate to do that.

Any thoughts?

You should have worn a mask during the shooting of the video.

Unless you are in the witness protection agency, are doing something illegal, or a fugitive... I don't see the big deal

As you can see in the X5world/X3world meets forum, a large number of the regulars here have our pictures posted in lots and lots of places. Unless you are doing something illegal or inappropriate, I wouldn't worry about it.
