But if I had to drive a little car, I'd wait for an i130 M Sport. |

If I only drove inside a small area, urban environment, it might be cool. Anything resembling a highway...forget it!

They're all over the roads here, but they're sold through Mercedes dealerships. I'm surprised you saw them on a Ford lot.
I saw one in front of me the other day use the merge lane to pass a bunch of cars. I was surprised it was able to out accelerate the traffic in the main lanes. |

It's like an ant infestation here. You can't turn around without stepping on one.
There's even a tuner shop in town that has engine software for the Smart Car. They claim a sizable boost in HP (>30% I think but I wasn't paying attention when he told me).

They are fun to drive and have a nice sound. They hold about three bags of groceries...

![]() I like them, but would be curious to see the real cargo space; I suspect Acella is correct: 2-3 bags of groceries and a pair of undies. If 2 sets of ball chasing weapons don't fit, it doesn't make my "really interested" list. They would make some sense in a very urban environment. Cool thread...I heard they "were coming". Good to see.

I first saw these in Italy. They do require getting use to but your right they are made for an urban environment and get ready because for short trips and errands they can't be beat. People will buy them because they will serve their purpose very well.
