That's what a guy at work was saying "why do girls get away with mini-skirts and sleeveless and he has to be in a tie in hot weather". I told him he can wear a kilt and tanktop but nobody will come close to him.

Obviously if I have a meeting or visitors I won't wear a skirt with bare legs and a sleeveless top. I'll be in a suit too. But I agree, there is a double standard as far as dress code or what is deemed appropriate.

Our dress code pisses me off!! LOL We can't wear capris...but, depending on how much you donate to the United Way, you will get a boatload of casual day stickers. If you wear a casual day sticker, you may wear jeans (but still no capris!)

yes, yes it does.... in about another 3 weeks i throw out all of my work shirts and buy 2 dozen new.

You're too young, but when I first started school female teachers and female students were not allowed to wear pants. This was public, not private school. Times sure have changed.

Nurses/MAs all wear scrubs here. Docs, shirt/ties/slacks/lab coat. Really simple---just keep the thermostat @ 72F and all is fine!
