Actually I was hopeing you were not referring to yourself regarding "who cares but since you have decided to own your comment here's mine.

Thou shalt not subject defenseless others to cell phone conversations. When people cannot escape the banality of your conversation you should spare them. People around you should have the option of not listening. If they don't, you shouldn't be babbling. And that my friend is all the break your gonna get from me. Grow up.

Absolutely perfect. I have been subjected to other's cell phone conversations in restaurants, Broadway plays, concerts, etc, ad nauseum. And it just isn't the talking, it is the annoying ring tones people are using.

Cell phones should be taken to a place where one is alone or somewhat private. Anything else is boorish, and another aspect of the general decline in manners in society.

And with regards to the original list, I would add drivers to the 'shall not use cellphones' list, for safety reasons.

Hows about the little bimbo that seems to feel it is necessary to talk on her cell phone about the great BJ she gave some guy the night before while she is in line, at the counter, in front of me at the deli in the morning....True story.
WTF - I must be getting old...

NO I DON'T HAVE HER NUMBER..
I love you!!!

Out of courtesy I try not to use my cell around others. If I'm out at any of the types of locations you mention, I keep the call short (if I answer at all) usually telling them I'm out shoping or whatever and I'll call them back when I'm not around others.

It really bothers me when people use cell phones in the gym. There is nothing more annoying than being on a treadmill/eliptical/bike etc and being subjected to someones call. If I'm in the locker room I don't even want to see a cell phone - if the person is talking or not.

I was at Yoga class the other night when someone's cell phone started ringing ...LOUD.... I mean, if you can't stick it in a locker for 1 hour at least have respect for others & put the thing on silent!!!!

YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ON THE PHONE IN A GYM!!!!! That is my biggest pet peeve. Did you ever notice the people that are using a phone in the gym are the ones who need to work out the most. That is rule #1 of gym etiquette in my book, also no watches. Just the other day I was lifting and I actually saw a guy holding his phone in one hand and curling a dumbell in the other hand he was saying " I'm doing some curls right now and then I'm gonna do some abs" lol cmon bud you really had to let whoever you were talking to know that, makes me sick

Hahaha My gym seems to have a lot of pro-sports players and military guys. I dont think I have ever seen a cell phone out, much less one ringing. Actually, I take that back, one of the trainers has his BB with those stupid BT headsets. Needless to say I see him go through many different clients at any given time.

Speaking of which, BT headset use is another topic all togther. I mean really, do you need to wear it while in a restaurant? You're not that important, nor are you part of the Starship Enterprise. Please unclip it from your ear.
