I believe the players civil rights have been violated and now he also is going to lose a pay check for the entire season as well....I smell a law suit, a suspension, and local DA apologizing.

the point of the thread as usual, is you know not what you talk about. Let's see, badge, not pull over = resisting arrest and the not seeing the badge thing will usually not fly. You will probably be one of those damn idiots who don't put up your hands when they tell you to.. so good.. 1 in 3 chance that they next time you get pulled over, you will get shot.. haha

u left out a ton of information concerning this "innocent" man.

here's a little background on this guy -
Since 1999, Foley has been arrested at least five times, including
cases that police say involved alcohol and confrontations with officers.

In April, he was arrested for investigation of public intoxication, resisting
arrest and battery on a police officer following an early-morning scuffle
with at least three officers in Universal City.

this guy was stopped by the officer, who identified himself, only to drive
off. then, he was stopped again. at this point, this guy got out of his
car and approached the officer. this guys passenger took control of the
car and drove towards the officer. after firing shots at the car, the
"innocent" guy reaches into his waistband. me, personally, if i was the cop,
i would've been shooting until the guy dropped too.

now, on to ur question. i agree w/ Laura.

Doubtful, I never get pulled over, now if you did, I'd have to be there with some popcorn and a fake "how sad" look on my face

Thats wierd, I was listning to the radio this morning and they had a totally different story, I've heard 3 different versions of the story, he did have a record though and I've never heard any of them say he drove off, their kind of focusing on the police officer which prompted me to say if an unmarked car tried to pull me over I don't think I would do it, now If he showed a badge before and I took off then i'd have reason to be arrested

The shooting came after Mansker, who was on his way home from work, followed a suspected drunken driver weaving in freeway traffic at speeds up to 90 mph. The driver nearly collided with several other vehicles.

Foley stopped three times, including at a red light after he got off the freeway. Mansker called radio dispatchers for assistance and ordered him to pull over, but Foley drove away, officials said.
