and Gresch, don't know if I agree with you on the big watch fad being over. Offshore's, Panerai's, etc. are still flying off the shelves as is the IWC Big Pilot, etc.
I would say, 40mm is the smallest watches still being purchased with the average tettering somewhere around 43. Both Panerai and AP are still making special addition watches that no one can keep in stock like the Polaris, Barichello, Panerai Subzilla's and even the new Ferrari theme'd watches (not my taste.)

And even the Jaeger, Bell and Ross, etc. are all still doing very well with big watches.
Rolex seems to be the only watch manufacturer that is not putting out big watches.

I don't think big"er" watches is a fad. You will not see the average going back to the 36mm and 38mm our parents and grandparents wore.
