The old Patrick Division was always bloody, and fun As for 1975, I just hope the Flyers don't go 40 YEARS like another team I know of... though they're getting very close.

And let it be known, as much as I dislike that team, I was rooting for them back in 1994.
and, it was 54 years, wasnt it??

Rangers

As badger bob often said to us "It's a great day for hockey"!

I had a few chats with Perry Pearn (assistant coach of the rangers) this summer and he indicated a great deal of optimism for the club this season - get ready you ranger fans!

And I'm gonna go burry my head in the sand and pretend tonight didn't happen. Not the way I wanted to see the Flyers start the season... just ouch!

pssst, the rangers won in '94, the flygirls haven't won since '75... i bet ya $20 that the flyers would trade ina heart beat.

that being said, i just got home from the game, HUGE rangers win on opening night.

jagr scored on the first shift of the game, on the first shot. and he came out with the C... named the 24th captain of the rangers in their 80 years of existence.

Shanahan scored twice, with his 2nd being the 600th of his career.

as usual, King Henrik was amazing.

awesome game.... I'm pretty damn happy that hockey is back!

HEY... didn't I say I was going to pretend last night didn't happen

If the Flyers play the rest of the season like they did last night, it's going to be a looooooooooong season But I'll still love them... no fair weather Philly fan here.
