Most of them campers are teenagers. I don't blame them for listing the console on E-bay for twice the amount. When the second release comes around, they will camp again and this time the profits will pay for their system. Better than mowing lawns or having their parents pay for them.

all the campers at the ebgames in my area were parents. it actually made me sick to my stomach when more than half of them kept saying how "they must have a console under the xmas tree b/c all their friends will have one too".

WTF!!!! I was happy to get a $10 GI Joe doll. They all admitted to having spoiled bratty kids which I found sorta funny people would keep playing into it.

I am no hurry to get PS3. When PS3 comes out Xbox 360 price will be decreased again, so I will get a xbox 360 first. And wait for PS3 to drop their price.

I agree, and over time the price will decline. a stand-alone blue-ray player is about $1k nowadays so some may consider it a bargain, not to mention the huge hard drive. i've always been into video games (remember atari & intellivision?) and always amazed at how life-like graphics get throughout the years.
