Despicable. A one game suspension is not enough. They should all get 3 games, and the ones who used helmets for weapons should be out the rest of the season.
If action is not dramatic, where's the disincentive to not do that again?

I agree the penalty should be harsher. For fighting players on the field at the time of the fight started maybe one game is o.k., if a player ran onto the field to fight then 2-3 games. Players that used helmets as weapons- the season and maybe even forfeit scholarships with potential criminal charges. I'd also say players that used cleats/spikes as weapons should get 5 games plus potential criminal charges if they went after someones face.
There should also be a penalty for the teams - No BCS or bowl appearances for 3 years etc. Just a few ideas, in short I don't think throwing a punch in the heat of conflict deserves the same penalty as using a weapon or as running onto the field to engage in conflict. I think the NBA has a rule about players leaving the bench, something like that should be considered too.
