I think most pickup truck drivers are a-holes anyway. Doesnt matter if its Ford, Chevy, Dodge, even Nissan.......they're all about showing off their egos. Someone in a F-150 parked so badly next to our X3 at a grocery store that I actually took a quick check to make sure he didnt scrape our car. Literally, the space between our rear bumper corner and his rear quarter panel was about 3" wide.

Oh, but they're in a TRUCK. And you better just get out of the way. Can't tell you how many times I've seen pickups parked so crooked they prevented the other 2 spaces beside them from being used. Worst of all they think they're such great drivers. Every one of them should be a NASCAR racer! Yet they can't even park their POS truck, not even a shortbed 2-door F-150. Of course the worst bought some King-Cab-4-door-longbed they have to make a three-point turn in just to hang a right on a 3-lane road without taking out a light pole. And what about those guys with 4-door dualies that live in an apartment complex? Oh, they're so cool. Their butts have never even seen a horse's back but they sure got all the trappings of a real fake cowboy to go dancin' at the local honky-tonk. Starched & pressed jeans, exotic boots, the hat, and a belt buckle so big it would cut their nuts off if they tried to bend over and touch their toes. (...starched jeans, how UN-comfortable that must be...) Whew... Ok, I've calmed down a little bit now. Here's one for ya though, I wrote this myself. It goes to the tune of that old Randy Travis Ford commercial and I sing it to myself every time I encounter one of these fools: The Ford Pickup Truck Song If I had me some money, I 'tell ya what I'd do, I'd go downtown and buy a Ford truck 'er two Crazy 'bout my Ford truck, I LOVE to drive my F-O-R-D truck! I love to drive my Ford truck And get in everybodys way! I'm sittin' at a light, the light turns green, But I'm a Ford driver and I don't know what it means! Crazy 'bout my Ford truck, I LOVE to drive my F-O-R-D truck! I love to drive my Ford truck And get in everybodys way! The sign says fifty, so I do thirty-five, People drive by wavin' and yellin' "Learn to drive!" Crazy 'bout my Ford truck, I'm CRAZY 'bout my F-O-R-D truck! I love to drive my Ford truck And get in everybodys way! Turn signal? Wut's a turn signal?

LOL I've dated a few boys who drive Ford Trucks and my brother used to own a 2004 FX4 (which I couldn't park if my life depended on it) I wouldnt own one because I couldn't park it but I do ok in my suv and same goes for the large huge suv's my mom has owned, dunno why, I do agree truck drivers seem to be the worst of the drives, GL on getting the mirror fixed

Oh that reminds me, I HATE how arrogant some pickup drivers can be. They'll PURPOSELY park smack in the middle of two spaces cuz they think their truck's that big and they're all that and deserve two parking spaces. That, or they'll park diagonal across two parking spaces. Same bullsh*t

Michelle, I'm sorry if I have an opposing point of view from you. But I would really like to hear what you have to say. (Go ahead, me!)I don't know why, but I feel I have to explain myself... What I said in my post is what I deal with in everyday life right here in "Foat Wurth, Texas." I've lived here since I was 8. Most (not ALL) pickup truck drivers around here are nothing but wanna-be cowboys and think they own the road when they're in their pickups. Don't get me wrong about the location. Fort Worth is a great place to live. I also have great respect for the REAL cowboys/girls in this area or anywhere. Though I've never been one of those real cowboys I have a pretty good idea what it is to be one. I've also ridden a horse or two in my time. When I was a kid My Aunt Zoe had a real working farm in Oklahoma with dairy cows, horses, pigs and chickens. She also grew her own vegetables in a garden behind her house. Corn, okra, green beans, peas, cabbage. You name it, she grew it. When her husband passed away she continued working that farm until she died. I also have two cousins in Clay County, TX. that still raise cattle for a living and use some of my mothers' land left to her by my grandfather to graze them on. Then there are my relatives down in Bell County. One cousin left ranching for construction because the ranching life was so difficult. An uncle was County Commisioner of that same county for a number of years (over 10). Other aunts and uncles still manage farms there growing hay and raising cattle. And you know what? They all drive pickups. The point is that none of these "pickup truck drivers" I am related to exhibit any of the traits of the "midnight cowboy" type of pickup driver I am refering to in my post and encounter every day. The ones that have no regard for anyone else on the road, can't park without taking up more than one space, or know how to use their turn signals. If they even know what a turn signal is.
