as for raoul's, (french) it's considered by many (and me) as the best steak au pouivre in the city. its excellent. if u have trouble getting a table, ask to talk to phillip. as for little italy, you can do much, much better italian many other places in the city. i've lived here for more than 10yrs and would not bother. if u want another point of reference, look at the zagat ratings. i eat out for biz/pleasure all the time in ny, but just my 2c |

+1 on Peter Lugar's....best steak I have ever had!
John's Pizzeria near Times Square is a) more than a pizza place, b) quite good, and c) not expensive.

Thanks, everyone who gave input. My wife and I had a great weekend in SoHo. We ended up eating at Balthazaar, as well as Fiamma-both great picks! Also had to have a few slices of good ol' NY pizza!
SoHo Grand was a great pick. Anyone down there has got to go to Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven! Great place to visit for chocoholics that appreciate great quality chocolate (like me). ![]() Thanks again. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! |
