You act like we hurt his feeling or something. My guess is he doesn't give a rats ass what people on this forum say about his garage or his cars.

I have never had anything negative to say about BMW's before, but the minute you all see a person who develops a wonderful garage, in envy you disgrace the man's vehicles and say such insulting remarks that imply arrogance and condescension:

He just doesn't need to pull his dick out and measure it on a viper forum.

Such implications are meant to berate and demean a person and to show that the owner is pretty much an arrogant a55 in your eyes. Why? Just by showing a beautiful garage for others to view in amazement, bewilderment, and to enjoy.

If he owned nothing but BMW's, then I (and many Mopar enthusiasts) would not have cared about the cars he owned and just enjoyed the "garage mahal" for what it is.

I am not saying that all BMW owner's act with such crass and negativity, but the ones who posted what they did in this thread sure need an education in etiquette and respect.

Who is anyone to tell another person what is of value in their own eyes? If a man loves the vehicles he owns, is that not enough for him to be happy? Or is it just so darn necessary to ridicule, make fun of, and denigrate the man just because his taste is different from your own?

I am not here to argue, develop arguments or even debates. I am here to say my peace and hope you pull some wisdom from it.

And the next time you meet up with Wayne in his GTS ACR Viper, I hope you brought all the BMW motor you could bring (and some of your friends also), because if not, then... well... be ready to taste his exhaust.

would i be a redneck if i asked what a napoleon complex is even if i'm not from kansas

okay i found an answer on the web

It's when a guy is shorter than most men his age. They feel they have to overcompensate for their shortness by being overly aggressive and do all kinds of macho stuff to prove they are a man. They buy big trucks and have to have a lot of toys.

Actually on yahoo someone asked what a napoleon complex is and here are a few of the more comical answers

it is a complex some short people have, they will go so far as to hang pictures on their walls lower and such

This is when a physically small man overcompensates for his small stature with excessive masculinity. Traits like bullying & picking fights, driving huge trucks, growing huge beards, choosing manly careers involving power tools, motors or both, etc. It is called Napoleon complex because Napoleon, a pretty short guy, possibly compensated for this be attempting to take over the world, a la Pinky & the Brain. I believe in it to some extent, my husband is kinda short, has a big beard, only wears flannel and is a mechanic. I also know a few short hairy truckers and bikers.

Napoleon was a small man who seemed to have something to prove. Occasionally you will come across men of small stature that are insecure about their size and subsequently act a bit like Napoleon

Napoleon complex like a God complex only shorter wiht you hand in your shirt

WHEN LITTLE PEOPLE HAVE BIG MOUTHS AND THINK THERE WAY IS THE ONLY WAY, R U KIDDIN ME WHERE DID IT ORIGINATE (NAPOLEON) EXAMPLE THE LITTLEST PERSON YOU KNOW HAS THE BIGGEST CAR. MORON

here is the link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...=1006050606724

so remember u can only have a napoleon complex if u hang u're pictures low on the wall wiht you hand in your shirt===funny stuff

I certainly appreciate your comments and the message you are trying to convey. It is true that we "hated" on the choice of cars but I do think that there would be similar response on an American musclecar forum where BMW's and the people who own them would be called very unflattering things, many of which would be much worse than seen here. It doesn't make it right, it just is.

I think that we all admire Wayne's garage and I wish I had his means to collect cars. Yes, I would have many BMW's and probably no Dodges as they aren't my cup of tea. As a group though, we here are automotive enthusiasts and can appreciate a Corvette, Viper, or Mustang for what they do well. I wouldn't buy a Corvette but I recognize the performance bargain it is. We all have our favorite marques. Just so you know though, we have a member here who sold his X5 and replaced it with a, gasp, Dodge Charger Hemi. We still let him come around though.

You must admit though, that his Crossfire is a little strange. It's not exactly a collectible car and even if you're a fan of them, that yellow one is ugly.

PS: Can you explain his whole "One of One" thing with so many of his cars? What makes them one-of-a-kind?

More of Wayne's toys.

if people on this board could afford an enzo then the last thing they would buy is a dodge / chrysler but it is refreshing to see a guy who could afford anything buy a few domestic cars ALAS the guy does have a ferrari and a bently = he just keeps them outside lol
