Not sure if this is your first HDTV or not but make sure you get the right cables (price does NOT mean the best) and figure that installation, mounting, etc will NOT be cheap!!!
not the first and I can install it all and calibrate it myself, i had better be able to with my technical background i'ld have to turn in my pocket protector if i blew this one

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
My Dad has a P 50 picture is ok and its broken twice.

The set is now three years old might be different today.

Still think that the LCD Plasma market is going through growth period with lower prices and better specs every six months or so.

I remember track and field... I can even tell you how to cheat when playing it. You know how you have the two buttons that you have to alternate hitting with your fingers to make your dude run fast? Then you hit the third button to make him jump, etc. ---- Well, instead of hitting the two alternate buttons with your hands, get a lighter, like a BIC lighter, hold the lighter in one hand and wiggle it back and forth over the two "run" buttons. You won't believe how well this trick works. It's noisy, but it works great.

Also, my favorite stand up game is called 720. it's an old skateboarding game that many of you may remember from the saying, "SKATE OR DIE" and then the bee's start to chase you. I've been considering buying one of those for years, I just don't have a playroom yet.

http://www.visualapex.com/plasma/Pla...&MFR=Panasonic

I ordered the 42" version of this "monitor" last spring. These are the greatest Panasonics--and Visual Apex is a solid distributor (no I don't work there). There price is right, and Panny has a 5-year warranty right now, which pretty much eliminates the need to buy it at costco. Aesthetically it is awesome--1" metal frame around a glass screen. Picture is rated better than any on the market for Plasma. Only issue is the lack of inputs and no speakers, but if you are buying a plasma TV and you don't have a separate speaker system, you have no business buying a plasma TV.

Ideally, if you have a cable box/direct TV box, this is the perfect TV. You don't need speakers, over the air HD, or 100 inputs. Just the best picture quality at the best price on the internet shipped to your door within 1 week, white glove. No regrets.

Make sure you ask about that return policy before you spend your cash. It is true that they have a great return policy but it may not be all inclusive when it comes to Big screens.

i've returned quite a few big screens to Costco for a variety of reasons. as long as they can identify the item as something they've sold before, they'll give you store credit with no hassle at all.

Store credit is good but not the same as a refund.
