you guys are nuts. you wont notice 1080P over 1080i i have a pioneer pdp5060 and it looks amazing , feed any progressive or hd content and you wont be dissapointed
 also i have a sony vpl-hs60 720P projector on a 104" screen in my basement viewing HDDVD movies are INCREDIBLE! dont think anyone could be disappioned with HDTV viewing. if the price is right for you gresh id say go for it.
