Ew....Well that Dodge charger wagon thing seems to have sold well. So maybe they will have some luck with this one? Whats next, the wagons from the 80's with the big "wood" side panels and the rear seat that faces backwards so the kids are always staring at the car behind you? ...oh the memories as a kid.....

It makes sense. I think it will compete well with the Dodge Magnum wagon which I've seen a lot of. The people that really want a mustang but need the space may gravitate to this. Obviously, the design etc will carry a lot ot weight.

Don't lump all of the US automakers together, GM is making huge strides in the last 12-18 months to turn things around, the same can't be said for Ford and DCMB.
Pick up the car rags and read the reviews of the GM cars for 2007, many of them have a statement in the review along the lines of "much higher quality materials". In addition, GM isn't cross selling their vehicles between all of their brands anymore. While some are still cross sold, GM finally realized that they were in competition with themselves and it was hurting their business. GM will be back. And it will be good.
